PATNA: Police have not ruled the possibility of involvement of health department officials in the thriving fake and expired drug racket in the state. Police sources said some health officials have connived with tainted drug wholesalers to give wings to the illegal business. A police officer said drug wholesaler Neeraj Kumar, who was arrested on Saturday, managed to procure licence despite the fact that three FIRs had been lodged against him in the past.
